Pattie O’Brien Nolton was born and raised in Washington DC, and spent part of every summer in the UK with her mother’s family.  She received a B.A. in Medieval Art History from Brown University and followed that with an M. Ed. at the University of Virginia in International Education.

Pattie, her husband and three daughters (and assorted pets) spent many years abroad in Budapest, Saigon, New Delhi, Calcutta, and Paris.  After her husband John retired, they lived in Annapolis, MD. While there, Pattie worked as Director for Lifelong Learning at Anne Arundel Community College.

In 2011, John and Pattie moved to St Augustine where she has been active with many groups, including EMMA, Marsh Creek Women’s Association, St Anastasia Catholic Church, and First Coast Opera.  Pattie currently serves as President of the Friends of First Coast Opera Guild, most recently heading up our Gala and October Feast events!
