Featured Artist: Raquel Rubí

Raquel Rubi artwork

Many in the First Coast Opera family will remember Raquel Rubí from her luminous turn as one of the Three Ladies in The Magic Flute this past March. But what some may not know is that Raquel is also an accomplished visual artist.

Raquel will display several original works at Fanfare! She has generously offered to donate a portion of all sales to FCO. We look forward to sharing her artistry with you.

Musical Guest: Dr. Jonathan Dotson

We are delighted to welcome acclaimed classical guitarist Dr. Jonathan Dotson as our musical guest for Fanfare!

A St. Augustine native, Dotson has performed on four continents, from Austin nightclubs to Spain’s Gothic cathedrals. Holding a Doctor of Musical Arts in Guitar Performance, he is also a composer, arranger, and producer. Widely sought after as a guest artist and clinician, his appearances include engagements at the Guitar Foundation of America, Mexico’s Festival Internacional de Guitarra del Noreste, and the Victoria Bach Festival.

Dotson's artistry will infuse our season celebration with elegance, romance, and brilliance. Visit jonathandotson.com to learn more about his music.
