Meet Sarah Nordin, Rosina

In the 2024-2025 season, Sarah Nordin brings her acclaimed portrayal of Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia to First Coast Opera. She will also make her debut with the South Dakota Symphony as Sorrine Olsa in the rarely performed Giants in the Earth by Douglas Moore, return to St. Petersburg Opera as Countess Charlotte in A Little Night Music, and debut with Utah Festival Opera as General Cartwright in Guys and Dolls and Mrs. Harcourt in Anything Goes.

Recent highlights from the 2023-2024 season include performances with Orlando Sings for Bach’s B Minor Mass, Great Falls Symphony for Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and as Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance with First Coast Opera. Nordin has previously charmed audiences as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Orlando and Gulf Coast Symphony, and as the title role in La Cenerentola with Geneva Light Opera. She has also performed with companies such as Opera Tampa, Long Island Lyric Opera, Opera Orlando, Gulf Shore Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, Landlocked Opera, Taconic Opera, and Winter Opera of St. Louis.
