Cuban soprano Raquel Rubà holds a Master’s in Vocal Performance from FIU and a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Miami. She has performed principal roles in early music, opera, and operetta across multiple countries, including the Baroness in The Sound of Music, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, and the Countess in The Count of Luxembourg with Sociedad Pro-Arte Grateli. Her notable supporting roles include Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana and the Monitor in Suor Angelica with MLO. Beyond her performance career, Rubà is an educator and the founder of RubiMusic, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting classical music, young talent, and the arts.
